CyberWalk.pk (“we,” “us,” “CyberWalk”) is a Pakistan-based digital safety and cyber policy education platform. This page explains what information we collect from visitors, subscribers, and applicants, and how we use it.

What we collect

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the email address you provide. We do not require your name, phone number, CNIC, or any other personal identifier to subscribe.

When you fill out a form on our website, such as our volunteer application, we may additionally collect your full name, email address, WhatsApp number, university or organisation, and any other details requested in that specific form.

Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools may automatically collect standard technical data (such as browser type, general location, and pages visited) to help us understand site usage. This data is not linked to your identity.

How we use your information

Your email address is used solely to:

• • Send you notifications when we publish new content
  • Occasionally share updates directly relevant to CyberWalk’s mission (digital safety, cyber policy, and internet governance in Pakistan)
  • Form submissions, such as volunteer applications, are processed through WPForms, our form plugin. Quiz entries are processed through our quiz plugin (QSM). This data is not shared with any other third party beyond what’s necessary to operate these tools.

We do not share your data with any third party beyond what’s necessary to operate our newsletter, forms, and quizzes.

Who has access to it

Your email is stored and processed through MailPoet, our newsletter service provider, which sends emails on our behalf. We do not share your data with any other third party beyond what’s necessary to operate this newsletter.

Your control over your data

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email we send. You may also email us directly to request that your data be deleted.

Data retention

We retain form and quiz submission data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, typically for the duration of the relevant campaign or event cycle, after which it may be archived or deleted.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as CyberWalk grows. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
